Adding "Rondie to the sales list was not an easy decision and we went back and forth several times. In addition to being a solid foundation female, "Rondie" is the gentle matron of our herd.  This experienced dam is low maintenance and would be a great investment for first time buyers.  Her births have been unassisted and  her cria are strong from the get-go.  She produces abundant milk and maintains her weight while her cria gain weight at a steady pace. 

Rondie is one of those non-flashy dams that goes about her business of producing one healthy cria after another.  Other than her "cuteness" factor I wouldn't call her a head turner.  But, she knows her job and she does it well.  She is a relatively easy breeder and maintains her pregnancies.  She produces an abundance of milk, is an attentive mom, and passes on her quiet disposition (and huge expressive eyes) to her cria.

Her 2005 cria Valedar's Prince maintains one of the best "fiber stats" of our herd.
